1. Hackensack River Keeper Eco-Tour

  • Cruise is free, but suggested donation is $25-$30 per person
  • Cruises run from May to October, dates and times vary
  • Tours are 2 ½ hours long, and can accommodate up to seven people

2. Storytime at the Fire Department Museum

  • Available every Sunday from 1:30pm-2:00pm
  • Reservations are not required, however space is limited, and strollers must be parked outside
  • Class is free, but a $5 donation is suggested
  • Located at 213 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken

3. House of ‘Que Karaoke Night

  • Available Wednesdays from 7:00pm-10:00pm
  • Located at the House of ‘Que Restaurant, 340 Sinatra Drive, Hoboken

4. Newport Lighthouse Picnic

  • Picnic near the Newport Lighthouse
  • Available anytime, weather permitting
  • Located at Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, Jersey City, NJ 07310

5. Apple Tree House

  • Visit the Apple Tree House
  • Located at 298 Academy Street, Jersey City

6. Mary McLeod Bethune Life Center

  • Offers free classes to the public weekly including children’s art classes, tae kwon do, African fusion dance, and soul line dancing
  • Located at 140 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Jersey City

7. 8th Street Tavern Trivia Night

  • Available Tuesdays at 7:45, no cover, no drink minimum, but reservations are recommended
  • Located at 800 Washington Street, Hoboken

8. Hoboken Historical Museum Exhibitions

  • 2 Gallery Exhibitions are available, “Cavemen Built my Skateboard” available anytime from September 19th until November 1st
  • The second exhibition, The Avenue: A History of Washington Street opened August 1st and is open until further notice
  • Both are located at the Hoboken Historical Museum at 1301 Hudson Street, Hoboken
  • Admission is free for members or you can make a suggested donation of $5 for admission

9. Hoboken Police Museum

  • The Museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm
  • The museum is located on the second floor of the Police Department headquarters at 106 Hudson Street, Hoboken
