Hudson River Waterfront Walkway

Hudson River Waterfront Walkway

Hudson County offers unparalleled views of the New York City skyline, and one of the best ways to soak up the city is the 18.5-mile Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. This expansive path connects Hudson County’s most scenic waterfront neighborhoods with a pedestrian and bike-friendly walkway. The route starts in Bayonne and heads up through Jersey City, Hoboken, West New York, and North Bergen, finishing all the way up by the George Washington Bridge, just beyond Fort Lee.

From biking and jogging to walking and fishing, you can enjoy your favorite hobbies with a Hudson River and Big Apple backdrop. Bikeshare options like CitiBike NJ from Nextbike are available along the waterfront; you can also hit the water from kayak launch sites like Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse and Urban Paddle in Jersey City.

If you need a bite after all that exploring, try one of our many waterfront restaurants along this walkway, including Son Cubano in West New York, Surf City in Jersey City, and Blue Eyes Restaurant in Hoboken.
