Statue of Liberty Celebrates 135th Birthday

City Experiences celebrates the birthday of the Statue of Liberty aboard Statue City CruisesOn, Thursday, October 28 at 10:45 A.M., join us on the water to commemorate the iconic New York City landmark, which arrived in New York Harbor on October 28, 1886. Statue City Cruises is the official boat operator to Liberty Island as it transports both locals and tourists alike to visit the renowned New York City landmark.
 
Statue City Cruises will sail a dedicated vessel out to the Statue of Liberty for a quick photo and b-roll opportunity before returning to Battery Park.  Please note: The vessel will not stop at Liberty Island or Ellis Island.  Statue City Cruises executives will be available for interviews to discuss the milestone birthday and the anticipated return of international tourists this holiday season.

Enter the Park near the Pixar Putt attraction, close to the water on the west side.
Follow the path to the blue flag (photos attached) toward the white “security screening” tent near the water.

SAFTEY:
Masks are required throughout the entire experience, including through security and on board the vessels.   Please keep in mind that you will be going through a mandatory airport grade security screening prior to boarding the vessel.
