NJPAC Celebrity Roast of Christian McBride

Christian McBride is an eight-time GRAMMY® Award-winning jazz bassist, bandleader, composer, educator and producer — and NJPAC’s Jazz Advisor and one of the Arts Center’s dearest friends.
And how do we at NJPAC show our friends we love them? By roasting them, of course! Join us for a night of music, laughs and hilarious fun as this jazz legend gets grilled — on the occasion of his 50th birthday — by comics George Wallace, Jeff Ross, and Amanda Seales, among a lineup of other brilliant comedians and musicians.
And best of all, every dollar raised at this uproarious event will support the best-in-class arts education programs at two organizations dear to Christian’s heart: NJPAC and JAZZ HOUSE KiDS.
We guarantee an evening of laughs, great food and drinks, plus hours of zingers and wisecracks, all served up with style on the Betty Wold Johnson stage in Prudential Hall.
