Mana Contemporary | How to Talk About Your Artwork with Daniel R. Quiles

June 19, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Discussing your artwork and articulating your studio practice can be difficult skills to refine. Join Daniel R. Quiles in an open forum, addressing how artists can talk about their work. Quiles draws from his experience helping MFA candidates from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago prepare texts about their work, to direct the program’s focus on the artists attending and their work and process.

DANIEL R. QUILES
Daniel R. Quiles is an art critic and associate professor of art history, theory and criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His academic research has focused on Argentinean conceptualism, as well as broader questions related to new media and politics in Latin American art.
