Smoking cocktails, delicious bites, and a night out with a twist of science! On the first and third Thursday evenings of each month, Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, a night exclusively for guests 21 and over from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
At LSC After Dark, the kids stay home, while the adults get to conquer the daunting Infinity Climber hovering three stories above the ground; check out living art in Microbes Rule!; take selfies with cotton-top tamarin monkeys, naked mole rats, and 100+ fascinating species in Wild About Animals; and so much more.
On the first Thursday of the month, join us for a chill evening with games, bars, and food.
Head outside to the beer garden and enjoy your drink in Dino Dig Adventure set against the stunning Manhattan skyline. Indoors, the entire Science Center will be open for exploration.
We’ve also got shows in the biggest planetarium in America, and telescopes on the lawn. Check out free live Space Talks from some of today’s leading scientists and explore the big unanswered questions of astronomy.
On the third Thursday of the month, LSC After Dark opens up the dance floor and becomes the hottest spot in Jersey City, infused with a touch of science!
These parties change each month. You might get slimed at “‘90s Night,” hunt for the secret bar at “Science Speakeasy,” or dance with dinosaurs at “Wine-O-Saurs.”
Each themed event features signature food and drinks, a live DJ, planetarium shows, and access to the entire Science Center.
