Live at Brennan’s

May 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

An exciting night of jazz music and light fare set in the historic William J. Brennan Court House

Jerry Weldon Quartet w/ vocalist Joy Brown

Internationally renowned veteran sax man Jerry Weldon, has been a player on the jazz scene for more than 45 years. With eight CD’s as a leader and more sideman sides than even he can count…or remember, this native New Yorker’s performance/recording résumé reflects his venerable tenor tenure and reads like a virtual “Who’s Who of Jazz.”

JOY F. BROWN is a native of Newark, NJ, who received her initial musical training in the Pentecostal Church under the tutelage of her father, a singer and musician. She began singing solos at the age of five, and it was in the church that Joy tapped into the ability to “feel the spirit” of a song.
