Indian Independence Day Celebration 2018
August 18, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
The first 200 children will receive a small Indian flag to wave during the parade. An Indian band will lead the festivities as we parade around the area waving our flags and celebrating Indian Independence. There will be fancy dress show. Children are encouraged to dress up in Freedom Fighter’s costume or classic Indian dress. Following the parade, all these children will be invited onto the stage to wave hello to the crowd.
There will be Indian dance performances featuring both children and adults, was well as the singing of national songs.
Please come with your appetite as there will be many Indian food vendors on hand selling all your favorite foods from home.
