DOCA & Jersey City Writers present the third annual Jersey City Poetry Festival: Future Tense, exploring the future of poetry. In 2019, cyborgs made an appearance in collections like Franny Choi’s Soft Science and Sally Wen Mao’s Oculus. Tess Brown-Lavoie’s Lite Year imagined that emails are a form of time travel.
