Hudson County’s 2021 Black History Month Celebration honors individuals who have been on the frontlines fighting COVID-19 within our communities for the last year. Join Hudson County Executive, Tom DeGise, Commissioner Romano and Commissioner Walker as they honor Captain Benjamin Dailey, Tina Nalls, Anthony Watson, Candice Drakeford and Assemblywoman Angela V. McKnight. Hudson County celebrates Black History Month yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Hudson Pride Flag Raising

Join us as we celebrate the 3rd Annual Hudson County PRIDE Month Flag Raising. The LGBTQ flag will fly at the Historical Brennan Courthouse for the entire month of August. The virtual flag raising includes special messages from our County Executive, Tom DeGise, Freeholder Anthony Romano and Elizabeth Schedl the Executive Director of the Hudson PRIDE Center. Hudson County celebrates the 2nd Annual West Indian-Caribbean CariCom Flag Raising. The CariCom flag will fly at the Historical Brennan Courthouse on July 24, 2020. Hudson County’s Annual Pakistani Independence Flag Raising

This year Hudson County is helping Pakistani-Americans celebrate Pakistan’s 73rd Independence Day a little differently than in the past. The Pakistani Flag will fly at the Historical Brennan Courthouse on August 17th in honor of it’s 73rd year. The virtual flag raising includes special messages from our County Executive, Tom DeGise, Freeholder Anthony Romano and Hussain Choudhri who has been helping us lead the annual celebration for many years. Wishing our Pakistani-American community a happy, healthy and safe Independence Day!
