Hello! We are Maryanne, Dale, Evan and Tats—a family from Hoboken, New Jersey. In 2013, we set out to create a local cafe, where specialty coffee meets community in creative and meaningful ways. A place where we would want to hang out with our kids, family, and friends while meeting new friends every day. Where the care in making a delicious brew surpasses the cup and transforms into creative energy to do good in the world. Where people can come to be inspired. And so bwè kafe was born! We’ve been brewing and building ever since.
Today with three coffee shops and a restaurant in full swing, we’ve found ourselves surrounded by an amazing team of like minded individuals, both passionate about the art of coffee and building community, who help us on our mission day in and day out. By using our collective passions and specializations of coffee, the arts, interior design, event/wedding production and entrepreneurial spirit, we hope to offer a coffee shop experience that is fulfilling both physically and spiritually, where people come to joyfully seek and pass-on a part of themselves to others.
