Riverview Jazz is a nonprofit organization that produces over 100 concerts a year for the Jersey City and Hudson County communities. Riverview Jazz is committed to building a self-sustaining audience for the arts by presenting various forms of jazz to the community in a combination of traditional and non-traditional spaces. In just eight short years, it has grown the Jersey City Jazz Festival from a grassroots concert in the park to a 10-day event featuring over 300 musicians and drawing a crowd of over 30,000 attendees. Situated in the heart of one of the nation’s most diverse and fastest growing cities, the Jersey City Jazz Festival unites world-class musicians, thriving businesses, and an engaged regional community.
