HONEYWELL AND HUDSON COUNTY PARTNER FOR LIVE AT BRENNAN’S
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- Hudson County, NJ – July 16, 2019
The Honeywell Corporation partnered with the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs to bring the second annual “Live at Brennan’s” Concert series to the historic Courthouse Rotunda. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, the William J. Brennan Courthouse houses the county’s civil courts. Often used to showcase the arts, its acoustics make it a perfect setting for musical performances like ‘Live at Brennan’s.” From March to May, three concerts featured music and artists that reflect Hudson County’s rich diversity. The series included blues legend John Hammond, tenor saxophone master and “soul jazz” standard bearer Houston Person, and the innovative Choir! Choir! Choir!, an open participation group where anybody who attends an event is welcome to perform as part of the choir.
Honeywell’s Dan Madden said “We were excited to be a part of ‘Live at Brennan’s” and see the combination of the exceptional setting of the Rotunda and the enjoyment of those attending the concerts. It’s truly a unique program and one we’re proud to support.”
Hudson County Executive Thomas DeGise stated, “Honeywell is a great partner and their generous support allows us to bring these types of events to our residents and visitors alike. Whether you live, work or visit here, the work of our Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs and programs like “Live at Brennan’s” enrich the Hudson County experience.”
The third annual Live at Brennan’s series is in the planning stages. The Rotunda is undergoing additional renovations at this time that should be completed in early 2020. Visit the Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs at https://www.visithudson.org/
