The Black Maria Film Festival Kicks Off Its 37Th Annual Festival Tour At The Hoboken Historical Museum, Hoboken, NJ
The Hoboken Historical Museum is proud once again to host the 2018 premiere of New Jersey’s own Black Maria Film Festival. Space is limited. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. The Annual Hoboken House Tour features approximately 10 homes and condos, plus special bonus stops, graciously opened to visitors by Museum supporters to help us raise funds for the many events and programs the Hoboken Historical Museum organizes annually. Every year, the tour offers a fresh selection of traditional and contemporary homes and condos furnished in a wide range of styles.
Just as the harvest season winds down this fall, the inaugural After the Harvest Wine & Food event presented by Provident Bank, will be launched at the Culinary Arts Institute at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City on Saturday, October 27 from 1-5 p.m. when member wineries of the Garden State Wine Growers Association and the Culinary Arts Institute and Hudson County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development team up for this new fall event.
After the Harvest Wine & Food will feature wine sampling from at least six New Jersey wineries; tastings, culinary pairings, wine tutorials and live music. The event is the first element of a new partnership between the Culinary Arts Institute of Hudson County Community College and the Garden State Wine Growers Association. Each ticket is $25 and entitles you to a wristband and a FREE wine glass, which you will pick up on the day of the event (proper ID required). There is also a non-drinker ticket priced at $10 that can be purchased. All attendees must be at least 21 years old and must be present in order to pick up their wristband. There will be a maximum of 500 tickets sold for this event. Attendees will be admitted at 12.30 pm and wine tasting will begin at 1 pm.
